Taking a concept and turning it into a visual reality through video.
Two world-class inventors and innovators with a storied history of other inventions, Sebastien Cotton, Ph.D. and Colton Black, had a product idea for a new way to transform any desk or wood top into a sit/stand desk that raises or lowers on command. The patent-pending product is called StandiT, and the development of the product is backed by an influential set of notable investors. Dr. Cotton and Mr. Black decided to start a Kickstarter project, and asked Ballpoint to create and produce videos to use for Kickstarter and other marketing.
Dr. Cotton and Mr. Black were familiar with other video work Ballpoint had done. They wanted a company that could deliver a quality product that met strict budget and time constraints.
The two inventors had a vision for their video, but needed Ballpoint to turn their vision into a reality. Ballpoint needed to create a video that showed something tangible, functional and complete. The project was time-sensitive, because the marketing had to be ready for the holiday sales season.
The Solutions Ballpoint Proposed:

We wanted to create original content with high-quality production value. Our team took the inventors’ ideas and the disparate parts of their product and turned it into a tangible reality. We created a strategy that placed the product in real-world environments that the target audience could relate to. Points of emphasis were:
Ballpoint created and produced two videos with a very short turn-around time:
Working with the team at Ballpoint was an amazing experience. They have been very efficient in fulfilling all our requests and kept us informed on a regular basis. They got the job done in time and the result exceeded our expectations. This is the beginning of a long lasting business relationship!Sebastien Cotten, Ph.D.,
